clutching

clutching is A3 biro, acrylic, and sharpie on paper. It's meant to be touching on people's needs for things to comfort them. I wanted to do something that felt quite iconoclastic, and also have been wanting to free up. That's why I chose to add biro and sharpie. Somehow with paint I have an overpowering urge to tighten up. I think that there's something a little like stained glass about this one, which I like, particularly as it features stained glass in it's own right. It's still not what I'd call wild spattering expressionism but I don't think it uninteresting.
