youontherun 60x80cm I'm hoping that my next piece will be either observational or happy. However, this one had to happen. I had to let go of some negative stuff. Please note, I'm thinking of the people here, Ukranians and Russians alike, as well as their neighbours. I'm not in love with any of the governments involved, including my own. I'm also crushingly aware of how much more concerned about these Europeans (well... some of them) than we were the Syrians, Afghans, etc. You on the run gets its name from a song by the black angels about deserting the army. It was almost called "the dog". I think war makes dogs of all of us, or worse.
