Bigwoody, I feel that I broke all of the rules with this one. I built it crudely out of cheap MDF, and strung it with guitar strings. Most zithers Die a horrid death as the components are torn apart by the pressure of the strings, so all my zithers are solid with a capital S. The perplexing result is probably the best sound, Soft and warm, it can stretch from subtle harp noises to coarse guitar with a little help from distortion pedals. My youtube videos are mostly soundtracked with this.

I like playing and building zithers. I found one years ago and got hooked

I'm fairly experimental with my designs so they're quite odd.
