ceres

Ceres is 60*80cm acrylic on wood My art mind has been struggling between a few ideas that really conflict both with each other and my current 2020 situation. I really wanted to do a fairly classical portait, I wanted to try a more impressionistic technique, and I wanted to try sculpting again. This is the resultof the above lack of direction, and thus I can't really claim to know what it means. She had to be holding something, so I gave her some grass, and she became ceres (I had recently drawn Sif for a secret project, but this girl is definately brunette, so sif she isn't). The photo really doen't do it justice, and I'm quite proud of it.
