Was asked to do a portait as a remembrance for for the scottish poet and playwright Donald Campbell for the one o clock gun in 2019. This was a tricky project as it was geared for black and white print, and usually something this important I'd do in paint. I actually did three, and nervously submitted all of them. This one went in to the magazine, and the original went to his wife, who I heard was happy to have it. Donald Campbell was an outspoken socialist, and took a lot of flames for his play "the Jesuit", which was an open condemnation of Scotlands sectarian problems, so a bit of an honour.
