The Norse Freyja cult outlived most of the other pagan gods. She is meant to be one of the wilder goddesses, shamanic and martial.
I wanted her to have an unusual face, as opposed to supermodel stuff, but still be strangely appealing. Somehow I'm happy with it.
Finished in 2018, acrylic on canvas 60 by 60 cm.
