greyboat is 60*80 cm acrylic on wood.
The characters and instruments in this painting kind of got mixed up, really they should swap instruments but somehow this is how they wanted to be.
Frankly, alot of this picture surprised me. I'd imagined them embarking to bleaker pastures, and the grey man looks dodgier than I'd have chosen.
This particular grey man, in fairness, seems to have no problems with either looking or seeming dodgy.
Mythology is full of wily beggars and thieves that turn out to be judges, and kings.
