This poster or flyer was done to a three day deadline for the Edinburgh Literary Salon's Book Week event in Waterstones. I'm surprisingly happy with it, both talking authors were covering quite dark subject matters and I feel that the cover reflects that just enough. It was actually a digital collage of a painting with some pages from old novels found in the attic. The painting was from a photgraph of my kids. Like alot of dads my ego bcreeps into my family photos so I was thinking along arty lines when I took it. My youngest son is probably saying "come on dad", or "do I really have to stand here?" in the original photo. I like to use my own base research so I take thousands of pics all the time, making family holiday slideshows out of the question.

Drugs, war, homelessness, human rights, scrapey, and more.

Usually they had one or two day timescales.
