lykewake
The lykewake dirge is undeniably christian now, but many believe it's sentiments are derived from saxon paganism, along with the trembling bridge.
This painting was done in 2015 whilst I was still building video games but fairly desperate to get out.
The game was about witchcraft and featured the lykewake dirge so this painting was obvious at the time.
It is acrylic and pencil on A3 paper.
