noblecat is 60*80cm acrylic on wood
The cat is noble, the dog has a friend.
My first large painting in what seems too long, and I'm not entirely in love with it if I'm honest.
I think I just needed to make friends with my brushes again after a whole bunch of writing and pen work.
The good news is that I don't hate it either. The bad news is that Windsor and Newton varnish reacts with permanent pen. Good news, I guess if anyone wants to know ho scrappy my original sketching is there it is, and more good news is that these pen marks should fade in the sun.
