A3 pastel on paper. This portrait is of the comedian, Noel fielding. Part of the 2020 portrait artist of the week competition. I thought I'd try pastels, which I'm truly not a fan of. Strangely, I'm ok with the results. Right now, with everything that's going on, it feels hard to imagine piqueing the world's interest as an artist, so a portrait competition seems good practice, although I think I'd prefer figure drawing.
