t

thewildestate

thewildestate is acrylic on wood and quite large at 60*80cm This started abstract and gradually fell towards a picture of an eagle in a distorted cityscape. At the time I was really thinking about the rather pathetic plight of a raptor in an area like this, and the conflict between the ego I associate with eagles and the reality that is the thousands of other larger egos. Somehow the end result was rather grand, however. Maybe the eagle will prevail after all. Thinking of what the eagle frequently represents both past and present, I'm not sure I wish it luck. Eagles look like they might be and have a lot of fun in Mongolia though.
