v

venus

Venus, or "Dan's wife" she replaces an earlier image of venus that I did years ago and utterly loathe. Venus really was a struggle, drawing her could be a really good way of revealing your mysoginyst womanising id. For the record this isn't my fantasy girl. Why Dan's wife? My son found a sofa in leith docks, and had a photo on it. Venus was meant to be born of the sea, and I felt "Sod it, she's a goddess give her a nice sofa, then it clicked that I'd been here before, artistically. I really wnted her eyes open, but "she insisted", the idea being that she's quite confortable in her own space, and needs not confront. technically, I could be happier , could be sadder. It's certainly on another level to the original, which I will now merrily delete, and possibly destroy.

Star Signs

Zodiac and planets drawn for an interactive furtune teller.

I ended up choosing a very different look with just the traditional symbols, hence there being a few missing.
