Walkers2 is 80 by 60 cm acrylic on wood. My first painting in a while (other projects) was not easy. I probably should not have chosen a redo of an unsatisfactory and challenging piece. All those challenges were very much still there. Here we see two musicians or artists of dubious merit and hope, playing away on the street. Even the name of the band is a bit lacklustre. But... good on them. People talk of warriors going to Valhalla, In my obviously biased view, no one is braver, or risks more than what most artists do. Calling yourself an artist is branding yourself a fool in the eyes of many, and committing yourself to a merry dance around an empty bowl that may achieve nothing.
